i had the previous version too (w202) which died after 3 months. sony ended up refunding me. while waiting for these, i tried a knock-off version from ebay, but those never stayed on my head. even though the old version died, i loved them, and was holding my breath for these.

first, the audio quality seems better (the old pair had no bass). i dont have the old pair to compare with, but they seem just the slightest bit bigger (not complaining). i'm assuming thats for different audio components and more water resistance. the jog dial for choosing tracks is now just a lever, so its easier to use. the volume up button is now a bit longer, so you can tell which button is which. and the shuffle switch is now a button. it looks like this button will let you choose a playlist. i haven't tried that feature yet, but my guess is it would let me have a music track playlist while working out, and then an audio book playlist for cardio.

anyway, these are great for working out. they stay on my head while lifting, cardio, abs, etc. i charge them in my car while driving to/from the gym, and i've never had the battery die before a workout was over. not having to deal with wires is great, and its easier just having one device instead of 2 devices synced with bluetooth.

the only reason i didnt give them 5 stars is because longevity is still in question. also surprised they didnt bump the memory up from 2 gig to 4 gig.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase of this product. I did not expect it to be perfect, yet it has proven to perform very effectively. I really hope Sony never drops this concept and instead keeps on adding improvements in its next generations. I would definitely recommend this product and would buy one with higher capacity if they ever offer it.

I admit I was a bit skeptical at first given the size of it and the price. At first it felt uncomfortable and completely foriegn. After the second run I went on using these, they started to feel hardly noticeable. I could feel they were there but I no longer worried that they would fall off.And at first I was trying to shove them too far into my ears which explains most of the discomfort. The sound is more than adequate for this purpose and the charge holds for a lot longer than I would expect. It's never come close to needing a charge while I was running or biking, but I also wasn't doing a marathon or a century. I have now worn them running and biking and IMO, they are the best all-in-one unit available without breaking the bank. That's not to say the design couldn't be improved upon which is why I gave it 4 stars. The ear pieces need to be substantially smaller and the head wrap thing should be adjustable. But best of all... NO WIRES!

I bought mine for the road and for just using while at work. I like it because i never have to pull my IPAQ out of the velcroed travel case that I use for carrying it. I bought this cable in order to connect my iPaq to my Motorola Timeport PT8167 (or something like that). There was a lot of misinformation out there stating that in order to use the iPaq with a cell phone, that you had to purchase some sort of CF adapter (I think it's made by Socket). That's all good, but the CF adapter costs $120 or so, you have to have the CF sleeve, and if you do, you can't have anything else in the CF sleeve =(

So I bought this and connected the serial cable to the iPaq, attached the supplied null modem adapter (included with my phone), attached the phone cable to the phone, set up connnection in the iPaq, and it dialed and worked. I was literally surfing the net on my iPaq within 10 minutes. The best thing about this is that my CF sleeve can hold my CF card or I can use the phone with a sleeve at all! My next project is to splice together the two cables to avoid the 15 feet of cable and cumbersome null modem adapter. I want a cable that is about 8 inches long that connects directly from phone to PDA.

If you still run Windows NT4 and you have an Ipaq, you cannot use USB. So either upgrade to 2000/XP, or buy this. Serial is really slow, though, so I'd recommend upgrading, personally.

I am going to give a qualified review - I took my Ham radio exam 20 years ago. I bought the 3689's on my visit to Florida - at $64 it blows the local Best Buy / Walmart offerings out of the water. They said waterproof - I used them at Blizzard Beach Water Park - plunged into water on the biggest slide in the world, did all the rides, swam for an hour with them under water, let my 5 year old throw it in the pool and take a shower with it! The mike on on of them stopped working, but after 30 mins (give it a shake) - good as new. We all know they won't do 36 miles, that just tells you they are the max allowed power of about 5 watts, so you can get about 3 miles or so. If you are in an open area of course more. They are really well made and nice to hold and the features are good. You have group call so you can call one or all units, you can also make all units switch channel. The lock button is good and the PTT button is high power at the top and full 5 watts at the bottom - a good idea to save battery power. I bought a pair of yellow 3689's and was so pleased bought a pair of green 3699's. What is the difference? About $7 and the 3699's have vibrate call, but to be honest is only used on a group call where it vibrates once a minute for 3 minutes if called. I am British but live in Malta (in Europe) and the best we can get in Europe is 0.5 Watt Walkie Talkies. These come with a 110v power supply but are just a standard 9 volts 350MW power supply bought anywhere for a few Euros / Quid. The brand of Uniden - I have CB's that are 25 years old the same brand and going strong. The only other Walkie Talkies I have going stong are a pair of Cobra's bought in the 90's - my first illegal CB bought in '79 was a Cobra and also working well. American stuff is built well and I did originally see what Cobra had to offer. The battery lasted well - you can buy spares on Amazon / eBay and get 4 for $20. You can 'fashion' the charger to charge the batteries on their own. I really researched this and these are the ones to go for and Amazon is the cheapest. In Sept 2011 the RRP is $89 and the only local store was Best Buy and they are special order aqnf $89 plus tax for the 3689's. I got next day UPS for $3.99 with Amazon. To conclude, I really abused them and they were 100% and at the price just buy them! People who give bad reviews just have unrealistic expectations or just don't know who to use them.

Buyer beware, these radios are horrible. It is extremely difficult to understand what people are saying on the radio compared to other brands. They have their own proprietary battery pack, which will last UP TO 4.5 hours if there is no radio traffic. Expect about 3 hours of battery life if you actually use the radio. They take about 8 hours to fully charge via the included rapid-charger. Radio must be off when charging. The interface to switch channels and features is very complicated, you will have to memorize the manual. They are much larger than other radios, but no big deal. They are waterproof for the most part and float which is the only thing going for them. Do not use the accessory jack at all, or it ruins the waterproof seal and they will leak and die. These radios lasted me about 5 weeks before they died.

I'm surprised by the poor reviews. I was a little nervous when buying this because of some of the reviews but now that I've got one (I ended up buying a few actually), I'm sure glad I bought this than others that cost so much more!

I'm guessing that the latest production runs fixed all the issues some of the other reviewers have mentioned because when I've tested mine, I didn't have a single issue (purchased in fall of 2011). It is the first game camera I've bought and although I don't have much experience it was easy to use and top notch quality. I guess if you tried using it without reading the instructions, you might have issues with it but I didn't. It's awesome!

I wouldn't hesitate buying one... worse case scenario, you send it back to Bushnell for a warranty exchange and you'll certainly get one of the latest versions with the updated firmware.

while this unit has been given poor reviews elsewhere, my unit worked properly right out of the box. Having owned a 'cheap' trail camera before, I can say for sure it is better.

The directions are lengthy and I suspect that many of the folks having problems are having programming issues or perhaps the camera that is now on the shelves has updated operating software built in. Or, it could be they are using the wrong 'type' card.

PRO's:

I've had mine installed for a week and have taken well over 200 photos, day and night. I do use the 'night vision' which emits infrared (invisible to us) flash and you get crisp black and white photos, easy to view and count points on the big buck.

My unit is currently set to 'Lo' quality pics but am pleased with the results. I am still on the first set of D cell batteries after one week and over 200 photos. I have not used the video or 'Hi' resolution features yet. I am experimenting to see how long the batteries will last. So far so good.

I think I will take a piece of black tape to cover up the red LED indicator on the front as that is all the deer can see at night when it takes the night vision photos. Other than that, it takes multiple pics of nice sized deer without alarming them like flash photography. They DO notice the little red indicator on the front of the unit because it blinks when motion is detected. This is why I said I might cover that with black tape (it's an indicator, not a sensor).

CONS:

I found the directions relatively easy however, If you are not able to follow written directions well, then Read the directions TWICE before trying to use this camera. Then as you program it, read them again and while you program it, have someone else talk you through the directions step by step. If you don't, you will mess it up. If you are not good at reading directions at Christmas time when assembling your child's gifts, You probably shouldn't be programming this unit by yourself. LOL...no, seriously.

I have one to two washed out or black photos per 100 photos taken. This is minor IMHO

The directions call for a 1 GB SD card. You can't find 1 GB (or less) SD cards nowadays. I am using the cheap 2 GB SD cards. NOTE: USE ONLY A PLAIN "SD" card! The 2 GB 'SD' card seems to function just fine. If you use the wrong type card, that is, something other than the plain SD card, it probably will have problems.

If you want your camera to take regular 'flash' photography at night so that it is in color (infrared only gives you black/white photos), then do NOT program the night vision input because if you do, it will take infrared pics. The default is standard flash photography so if you don't program the night vision, it will default to standard flash.

Last con, if you want to use the infrared feature for night pics, you need to know when it gets dark and light so that you can program it in to the unit. This means that it will have to be reprogrammed as days get longer or shorter. You would think they would install a light sensor on this unit...must be non-hunting engineers that don't know you shouldn't be running to your camera all the time.

Got this camera for Xmas. Huge disappointment in that the manual says it takes 1 GB card max. I called Bushnell tech support and they confirmed this. The camera was manufactured in May 2009 when 1 GB cards were obsolete. SHAME ON YOU BUSHNELL for continuing to manufacture an obsolete product!

I bought this as a birthday present for my 1-year old daughter. Although it came with batteries, I had to replace them right away. I thought, oh, maybe it was a demo or got played with in a store, no big deal. The next day, the batteries were dead AGAIN. The toy wouldn't even turn on. Replaced the batteries TWICE more (with brand-new batteries every time) before giving up entirely. Worse, Amazon will only give me a partial refund because I bought it a month before my daughter's birthday (I like to be prepared!), so it was past the return date. And the manufacturer is in CANADA, and I don't want to pay outrageous shipping just to return a broken toy. If my experience is any indication, this product is cheap and poorly made. Such a shame - it's really a great concept.

It is a snuggly soft fabric and as another reviewer had mentioned, it has polyester as the backing of the material (not the part your baby lays on) so I wasn't that upset over it not being 100% front and back organic. After washing it, my husband asked if they made sheets like this for his (king sized) bed :)

As far as point and shoots go, this one is okay, its easy to use, its light weight, and the price is not to bad. I have owned this camera for 7 months now and I dislike it more and more as I get my processed film back. My pictures taken with the zoom at its maximum length turn out fuzzy, this doesn't happen when the zoom is partially used, only when it is all the way out.
I love to take pictures of my children, but I find myself wanting higher quality snapshots than this camera allows for. Also the strap that comes with this camera is very cheap, the adjustable end kept slipping off, I ended up having to tie it in knots to keep it attatched to the camera.

A really great camera, produces the sharpest shots I have ever seen on any point and shoot and probably outdoes an SLR, really astonishing when you see the prints. Features are great, high shutter speed, dial works well, zoom device is smooth and quick, operation of whole camera is very quick, flash is very powerful On the negative side, camrera is on the large side, I knew that when I bought and accepted that,using it in macro mode far from easy, instruction manual is an enigma on this feature, when you finally figure it out, the parallax correction lines to thin and hard to see. Even with the minuses I consider the Z135 to be my camera of choice, I love the thing.

After my first Canon Z135 was left in a taxi in Thailand, I had an excuse to research a replacement all over again. I don't tend to pick the same thing again when I can have something new and different, but there just isn't another compact zoom camera that takes pictures anywhere near the quality of those I get with my Z135 (you'll see what I mean when you buy one and compare). The portraits are particularly stunning and the camera is much faster than others (the competitors use only one battery and take too long to focus and snap). I used to lug around an SLR with various lenses, but this camera replaced all of it. As a result, I tend to have it with me when the great shots are out there. The zoom range is impressive and the handy dial on the back makes it simple to turn on and shoot with. This is a wonderful camera!

I purchased these headphones used for the same price they are being offered new so the price is real nice here. I like these headphones because they just perform really well and are not to bulky like some of the sony over the ear headphones just overall great headphones.

To start, I am a great fan of Panasonic products, but I believe this one was not their best.
The headphone set looks and feel light, as intended, but the sound quality is not really that great. My old set of very basic Philips headphones has much nicer, fuller and deeper sound. The sound from this set is somewhat boxy, like form the laptop speakers. I do not really feel the enhanced bass unless I press them really hard to my years. They are light but the grip is not very strong and they come off too easily - w/ a slightest pull of the cord. In summary my expectations were higher for Panasonic headphone model with a msr price of $50.

This headphone has good treble and midrange. Bass is weak. For this price you can get a headphone with much better bass. JVC Has150 and Koss KtxPro1 cost about the same and they are much better in term of bass response.

I got these for my 82 yr old mother with cataracts. She has no problem seeing the keyboard.

Before giving it to her I used it for a week. I work on PCs 5 days a week, every minute of the workday (network engineer). I found the large letters almost... relaxing... to my eyes. I wear glasses and my prescription has increased over the many years. I'm now at a point where the strength of the lenses (meant for distance) gives me problems with reading things. The larger letters "feel" physically easier on my eyes.

The stickers adhered very easily and seem to stay put quite well. Only time will tell over the years.

I'm buying more sets for my keyboards.

Honestly, looking at them I can't figure out why ALL vendors don't use large print letters. Why specifically choose smaller print that is harder for some people to see. to save ink??!

These arrived quickly and were easy to apply, with no extra glue. Huge letters that are easy to read. I received the color I asked for (white-on-black). I'm not exactly vision-impaired but I bought these because the letters on my laptop were wearing off - and these are MUCH easier to read than those were.

If you want an inexpensive audio book player this is it.

Leave the player on "pause" for about a minute, and it automatically shuts off. When you restart it, it picks up where it stopped.

The player is good when you have just a few files that you want to click through. I lose track of them when I have more than a dozen or so loaded: You have no control over the order in which the items play. But the order does stay the same until you load / remove files.

You can advance from one track to the next, and back up, but the control is a little touchy. I found the volume control especially frustrating, so I bought a volume control at Radio Shack that plugs in between the player and the headphones. Amazon now sells a similar item: Koss VC20 Volume Control

The player recharges quickly (usually around 20 minutes) and has a long battery life (around 6 hours)-- probably because there is no display.

Note #1: The player is *much* smaller than described. It is approximately 2 1/2" high by 1" wide. (The dimensions given are for the package and all.) It is a tiny thing and its aluminum case is very rugged. You can clip it to your shirt and wear it in the shop or during your workout without worrying about breaking it. At 0.7 oz (20 grams) you won't even know it's there.

Note #2: If you want something with a shuffle feature for songs, this is not the player for you.

This is a very simply MP3 player. A few things to note:
1) It plays in the order of the file listing. Ours plays in order of file name. There is no "shuffle" function that I can see.
2) It automatically restarts from the beginning when finished.
3) It can charge and play at the same time.
4) There is a small delay between tracks. Clicking "next" fades out one and fades in the next one. I didn't notice this when it plays in order (because typically a song would fade out normally).

We used this to replace our dead CD player that plays our company's "hold" music. I decided a small MP3 player would be efficient. It works perfectly for our needs.
